Legislative policy research internships are available for winter quarter through the Local Government Fiscal Note Program. This is an unusual opportunity to observe the legislative process up close, provide an important service to policymakers and learn from a team of resourceful researchers -- almost all of whom are Evergreen MPA graduates.

This could be a particularly compelling year for students to observe up close the legislative process. Our shop is small enough that interns can dig into substantive projects with real mentorship from highly skilled researchers and policy wonks. These are unpaid internships but graduate-level college credit is available.

The Local Government Fiscal Note program has been the launching pad for quite a few careers over the last 32 years. We’re looking for the next generation!
